Rodent Exclusion & Mouse Proofing

Traps catch the mice you have. Exclusion stops the next ones. We seal your home from the foundation to the roofline so rodents can't get back in.

A house mouse can fit through a gap about the width of a pencil. In Northern New Mexico homes, the usual openings are weep screeds and stucco cracks at the foundation, gaps around plumbing and HVAC lines, garage door corners, unscreened foundation vents, and roof returns where the fascia meets the stucco.

We start with a full inspection: photos of every opening, droppings and rub marks, and a written plan. Then we remove the rodents inside, seal entry points with hardware cloth, galvanized mesh, metal flashing and exterior-grade sealants, and come back to check our work.

Rodent exclusion is the most common job we do, from single-story ranch homes in Rio Rancho to older adobe homes in Santa Fe and wooded lots in Los Alamos.
