Humane Skunk Removal & Deck Barriers
Skunks den under decks, sheds, porches and slabs. We get them out humanely and install buried mesh barriers so the den can't be reused.
Seeing a skunk now and then doesn't mean you have a skunk problem. A den under your deck or shed does. Signs include a fresh burrow at the edge of a slab, musky odor near the foundation, and activity at dusk.
Whenever possible we use one-way exclusion so the skunk leaves on its own, timed so young skunks aren't sealed inside. Then we install an L-shaped buried mesh skirt around the deck or shed so nothing can dig back under. The goal is that they leave on their own and can't get back in.
We can also help with the cleanup and deodorizing afterward.
